WHAT IF IT RAINS?

Wedding will be happening rain or shine! There is still a ton to do on the island in the rain – it’s special in every condition. The ceremony will be at Flynn’s in case of rain. The ferries run in the rain as well!



WHAT IF I'M NOT STAYING OVER?

We don’t expect everyone to spend the entire weekend in Fire Island – we are just happy to have you there to celebrate! If you are just attending Saturday’s ceremony and reception, there will be WATER TAXIS (for our wedding) available to go back to Bay Shore (the mainland). There will be an 11:30pm water taxi and another late night water taxi for those who want to attend the after party!



HOW FAR IS THE BEACH CEREMONY FROM THE VENUE?

A 2-3 minute walk on the same street!



HOW DO I BOOK A FERRY TICKET?

You can buy a ticket at the ferry terminal counter (104 Maple Avenue - West Terminal) or online. There are no prescheduled tickets – you can catch whichever ferry you’d like with your ticket. Ferry tickets are $13 per ride (one way) & $25 round trip. Purchase on the app or at www.fimtickets.com. Can also be purchased at the ferry terminal. If you are staying in Ocean Bay Park or coming directly to the wedding for they day and taking the Ocean Bay Park Ferry, the ferry often stops in Seaview first. Do NOT get off at Seaview! Make sure to leave some time before your ferry so you don't miss it. HOW DO I GET FROM THE FERRY TO MY HOUSE OR HOTEL?

You can walk! If you are staying at the hotel, they will assist you with your luggage from the ferry terminal. If you rented a house, your house rental will likely have instructions for a wagon you can use!

IS THERE A PLACE TO EXERCISE?

There are workout classes organized on the beach – please reach out to the concierge for more info. There is a yoga studio in Ocean Beach. Fire Island is also a great place to walk and run!

There are Northwell doctors on the Island. Fire Island police department and fire department can be contacted in case of emergency as well.
