WHAT IF IT RAINS?

Wedding will be happening rain or shine! There is still a ton to do on the island in the rain – it’s special in every condition. The ceremony will be at Flynn’s in case of rain. The ferries run in the rain as well!



WHAT IF I'M NOT STAYING OVER?

We don’t expect everyone to spend the entire weekend in Fire Island – we are just happy to have you there to celebrate! If you are just attending Saturday’s ceremony and reception, there will be ferries running regularly back to Bay Shore (the mainland) and there will be late night ferry accommodations (past 11:30pm!) and late night water taxis can be organized as well if you do not make the last ferry.



HOW FAR IS THE BEACH CEREMONY FROM THE VENUE?

A 2-3 minute walk on the same street!



HOW DO I BOOK A FERRY TICKET?

You can buy a ticket at the ferry terminal counter or online. There are no prescheduled tickets – you can catch whichever ferry you’d like with your ticket. Fire Island ferry tickets can be purchased via the Fire Island mTickets app (iOS/Android), in-person at terminal ticket windows (cash/card), or through automated machines at the Bay Shore terminal. Major services include Fire Island Ferries (Bay Shore) and Sayville Ferry Service. App: Download “Fire Island mTickets” to buy, store, and activate tickets on your phone. Terminal: Purchase directly at 99 Maple Ave, Bay Shore, or 41 River Road, Sayville. Pricing: Adult round-trip is approx. $25.



HOW DO I GET FROM THE FERRY TO MY HOUSE OR HOTEL?

You can walk! Please reach out to the concierge if you’d like help taking your luggage to your accommodations.

IS THERE A PLACE TO EXERCISE?

There are workout classes organized on the beach – please reach out to the concierge for more info. There is a yoga and workout studio in Ocean Beach and also pickleball and tennis courts. Fire Island is also a great place to walk and run!

WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION?

There are Northwell doctors on the Island. Fire Island police department and fire department can be contacted in case of emergency as well.
